They are known for their disc shaped hear as it allows to have exceptional hearing when it comes to tracking down their prey hidden under snowy grounds. This disc shape also gives them a distinct shape to their eyes, making them seem intense and rarely forgettable. Lastly, though they have long bodies and wings spanning to five feet, they are rather light and contain mostly fluffy feathers, which give it a much bulkier appearance.
