This owl has the highest population, sitting at around 5.7 million of its kind across the world.
It is native to the Arctic tree line, North America, and has been spotted around the Tierra del Fuego in South America.
Some unique attributes of this specie is that they are highly adaptable, an apex predator, and have a diverse diet, from eating small rodents to smaller species of owls too.
